Exhibitor Updates The lineup for 2019 promises as ever to feature the rising stars and established stalwarts of the South African design landscape. A variety of product, surface, furniture and interior designers will take part once again in the country’s
leading collectable design show. Visitors can look forward to the full spectrum of what local design has to offer. A few of the brands who will be joining the show, some as repeat exhibitors, include luxury textile company Fabcote, who will launch international wallcovering and fabric collections, Afrocentric-inspired accessories label Sunburst Creations and innovative functional designers Notation Design. Also look out for Takk Studio, which will showcase its elegant pared-back furniture, and work by lifestyle photographer Benjamin David.

Spotlight on: our Co-Creative Director With extensive experience in the homeware and design sector, and a unique understanding of the South African retail landscape, curator and Co-Creative Director of 100% Design South Africa, Laurence Brick believes the show offers an invaluable springboard to emerging designers in terms of exposing them to both the trade and the consumer, and facilitating new collaborations. ‘The show is a catalyst for creativity as much as it’s a platform for it, and over the years a huge number of new products have been launched with us,’ he affirms.
