Extra, extra
House & Leisure content partnership 100% Design South Africa is thrilled to announce its partnership with award-winning design and decor brand House and Leisure for its 2019 exhibition. It truly is a match made in content heaven that coincides with House and Leisure’s dynamic rebrand, which sees the ‘O’ in its name reimagined as a viewfinder and lens to illustrate the brand's zoned-in approach to unpacking the Here and Now, resulting in engaging and innovative content with a focus on contemporary South African design.

Hand to heart
Corinne de Haas
Ceramic artist Corinne de Haas will be joining the ranks of designers exhibiting on 2019’s show. Since 1991, she and her team have been producing handmade ceramics, using a variety of clays and a combination of contemporary and traditional techniques. Corinne’s urge to experiment – with glazes, shapes and texture - has ensured that over the years the products have remained fresh and exciting while the instinctual process and tactile nature of the pieces makes each one of a kind.

Down to earth
Kipekee Studio
The husband and wife team – Michael and Kylie Bornman - that make up Kipekee Studio, one of 2019’s exhibitors, believe in crafting their designs with love. Based on SA’s East Coast, the boutique woodworking studio creates minimal contemporary designs that are imbued with meaning. A core aspect of their business is remaining true to the raw materials, which gives their designs a sense of authenticity and natural unadorned beauty.
